Hi you’re either reading this because you are one of my subscribers, followers on Twitter/Pinterest or because I’ve approached you today and directed you here.
My blog is 1 year old today (yippee) and I have worked hard to get it to Number 16 in the Gastronomy Top Blogs on e-buzzing and Number 34 over at All Dishes. In this time I have gone from a hobby blogger with a passion for food (which began with my love of Home Economics as a school girl) to someone who actually wants to make food blogging/writing their career. Most of the jobs I have had in the past were food related whether that was working in a kitchen preparing it or working in the PR department for a major frozen food manufacturer. I understand the science of food and nutrition and want to share my enthusiasm for cooking with like minded individuals and a generation who have perhaps never even boiled an egg. I am also passionate about sharing the latest kitchen gadgets with my readers.
So why am I calling on your brand today, well a food blog needs food and there are so many new products on the market that I would love to try and share with my readers but it is impossible for me to buy them all. The government’s policies have meant that our household income has been shattered! I was in Tesco the other day and saw a new product “Kiwi Berries” which I know nothing about and who better placed than a food blogger to spread the word? The assistant suggested I buy them when he heard I what I did! If I could afford to, I would have done! So you see I can give your product a platform as my readership is growing by the day. Some lovely brands could spot my potential from the beginning but I now need more food brands on board for this exciting time ahead. Many bloggers have been kind with introductions but I feel that I have now earned my place in food blogging and it’s time I introduced myself to a wider audience. I’m here and I can do marvellous things for your brand if you’ll let me. So why don’t you contact me today via my contact form and send me some samples of your products. If I like them then I can use/review them in my recipes and credit you or if it’s a finished product then I can simply review it (eg boxes of chocolates, I really need those:-) . I am also open to doing sponsored posts, recipe development and running competitions.
Thanks for reading, and here’s to a fruitful second year of blogging, I hope you can join me and find out for yourself how much I can help you:-).
