I would recommend washing bananas thoroughly before starting this recipe, or any recipe, or just eating out of hand.

S’mores were a staple at Guide Camp when I was growing up. What you are describing is similar to our Banana Boats. We put the marshmallow and chocolate in a split banana and wrapped in foil and let cook over cooler coals while we ate our dinner.

Hhrrm… I dunno – I reckon it needs a bit of peanut butter and then it would be perfect… you’d want s’more! 😀 I grew up on Canadian S’mores and they always had peanut butter (that’s what you stuck the marshmallows and chocolate chips to before sandwiching it all together). 🙂

Wow, this takes me back to guide camp as a teen when we used to put Dairy Milk chunks into the banana to cook on the camp fire, cue melted chocolate banana gooey goodness! I must give your version a try as it looks amazing.
