Thanks Jacqueline, I’m just glad no-one I knew was there and that the audience didn’t know what my blog was LOL as in past years they have always asked! How fab that you got to bake with him:-) And I didn’t have any option but to stand up when he asked me to. In the press tent I was sat in my seat asking my question:-)

It was indeed a very fun day! I think Paul mentioned he had worked with some but he just didn’t look at their blogs or follow any – I don’t expect he gets the time either!

I was at a press do and we all made bread in a tent at a flour mill in Essex! (Maybe thats why he was picked for Bake off. Ha Ha)He really knows his stuff. He said i made my dough a bit too dry (a common mistake) and ever since i have taken that on board and as a result my bread is much better. He also said the finished loaf was very good. Little did I know then How much that would come to mean.

At least when I got to talk to him I wasn’t watched by hundreds of people know I wouldn’t have had the nerve to stand up in front of so many Good for you. Look forward for seeing your recipe for bagels.
