Can’t take credit for the recipe as from ActiFry but this is a firm favourite in our house now and so very easy:-)

I make this so often now Martina and change the meat or sauce too – love my ActiFry:-)

We love the ActiFry, it gets used all the time and this dish is fab:-)

I love my Actifry and this recipe is now one of our favourites as it’s so quick and easy. I love that the Actifry is like a spare pair of hands when I’m cooking. I haven’t tried the Redmond Multicooker yet but it might be in the pipeline:-)

Thanks for your answer. I also downsized (due to the fact that all my children left home now) and have now a smaller kitchen, so my love for gadgets becomes a problem. I don’t see myself using the big slow cooker very often and my trusted pressure cooker is too big for a single person.
Basically I look for ONE gadget which chops, freezes, bakes, fries, cooks, irons, hoovers and cleans behind the kitchen sink. I make adjustments as I go along.
Since Rosie (from “The Jetsons”) has not emerged (despite it being promised to me during my childhood) I will certainly look very carefully at the Tefal.

Hand on heart I would buy the ActiFry and I even persuaded one of my neighbours to get one as well as brother in law. I used it tonight for some frozen chips and find I’m using it at least twice a week so have had to put the slow cooker in the cupboard:-) I love that it uses far less fat than frying or roasting usually does and it’s so easy to clean – I could go on:-)

I feel like an ActiFry evangelist, even my neighbour just bought one on my recommendation:-)

No the paddle spins at the same rate otherwise the food would be pulverised LOL:-) I can’t see a reason to have a variable temperature as the food cooks in a definite amount of time perfectly. You don’t deep fry at variable temperatures.

Kavey it’s used at least twice a week here and I’ve hardly scratched the surface of what it can do I just love it for the healthy way it cooks and the brilliant results it gives.

Interesting that the new Actifry cooks faster – does it stir faster too? I do not know why they do not have a vaiable temperature?
