No, they are not interchangeable as far as I’m aware. Saw a cookery show with celebrities once and everything went horribly wrong when they tried to sub flour for once of those.

The thinner the better for sure and next time I’ll try to go even thinner to get a good crunch. Thanks for the great recipe.

I see there are cracker recipes on the internet made with gram flour so you could cross reference!

This recipe sounds good, but I’m trying to follow a low carb diet at the moment so going to try making these using Gram flour instead. Has anyone else tried this?

I’ve only ever made them with strong white flour so can’t say how they’d turn out using spelt or rye flour but I’d say they would need slightly more water.

Hi Emily, I have to admit to not having tested the length of time that these crackers can be stored for as we polished them of within about 3 days. Having a look on the internet the consensus on similar recipes seems to be between 3 days to 2 weeks. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Perhaps make a test batch.

I’m intrigued by baking in an air fryer, mine has a paddle and I think even if I removed it I’d only be able to fit about 8 crackers in the base of it! Yes toasting the sesame seeds sounds like a great idea:-)

Just made these and cooked them in my airfryer came out nice. One thing I would suggest is to toast the sesame seeds first to give a nuttier taste.

I’m afraid I don’t know but I’m sure you can Google the ingredients if you need to know this.
