Ooh, granola is so much nicer than using cornflakes or Rice Krispies to make this kind of no bake cupcake.

They look so delicious and I have never thought of using alternative cerals and granola before. We have experimented with different chocolates like Mars, ferrero rocher and adding things like dried fruit etc but the cereal bar and cereal options opens a whole new world to chocolate hedgehogs 🙂

I really don’t think she’d detect them as these are so chocolately and the pecan isn’t a strong flavoured nut – at least not in this amount of chocolate:-)

I’ll certainly make these with my daughters. Unfortunately, one does not like nuts, so will have to find a nut free granola.
