I am trying to think if I’ve ever had a burger with pineapple and I don’t think I have. What an amazing idea, I’ll be trying this!

Hi Jen, I’ve amended the recipe to include 2 cloves of crushed garlic in place of the garlic pots (as that’s essentially what they were). The Fiery BBQ Chilli Sauce is just for the garnish so you could just use any BBQ Sauce or if you wanted to make it fiery add some chilli sauce to it eg Sriracha. Enjoy:-)

I think both really would make a great flavor in the burger but I can’t seem to fine either. The closet I can get is just a concentrated chicken, beef or veggie stock, and as for the sauce, Kraft has a sweet and spicy bbq sauce .
What would you recommend using for substitutes or do you think what I found would be okay in place of those other ingredients? Thank you in advance! 🙂

They were utterly fabulous – must make them as I have a pineapple, turkey mince, bacon, buns and more turtle beans:-)

My son and daughter refused the pineapple but then my son came round to it and it really went well with the bacon & BBQ sauce. I knew this flavour combo worked well as I often make chicken wrapped in bacon kebabs with pineapple which are delicious. I hated pineapple for years and it always gave me stomach ache as a kid but I’ve grown to like it and it loses it’s acidity on the BBQ:-)
