I have tried gousto for the past 2 weeks and have found it extremely good. I work long hours also but enjoy cooking these recipes even if it does take longer than stated. people need to manage their time better, surely they must realise that cooking from scratch(these are not microwave meals) is going to take a little longer.

I think preparation time can be difficult to estimate. I will happily prep several things at once and I’ve never had steak and chips take an hour? That said, if this is meant to be for convenience; I don’t see what’s convenient about it?

In reply to Elizabeth. I think there is no problem is quality ingredients but the recipes just take too long to make, there should be a way to make quick delicious meals I feel. It reminds me of Jamie Oliver's 30 minute meals that no-one could actually make in that time!

Many products never even get on my blog as they are in need of major changes before I could possibly feature them and the brands are always very appreciative of the honest feedback and when the problems are fixed they come back and tell me:-)

Very fair review. I haven’t heard of this company but it is an interesting concept (if a bit misleading perhaps with timings – or at least not clear what is being timed). It’s good to know that despite the time factor it was a good trial of it, and that the food was really good. But yes, I would be disappointed with the lack of veg for the second and third meals.

Looks like a fantastic selection of products and recipes, such a shame the cooking time took so much longer than expected. Maybe they need to tweak their recipe cards?
