Love love love asparagus! It would never have occurred to me to barbecue them, what a fab solution.

If I was doing asparagus indoors then I’d just roast in the oven, less fussy.

Would it be ok to do this on the grill, inside, rather than on the BBQ? Would it still have that delicious chargrilled taste, I wonder? I’m thinking ahead in case the weather behaves badly!
