Love how the soup has turned a lovely hue of gold. I dd something similar with a large glut of potatoes I had that were on the turn, whizzed up with some stock, sage, bay and onion it was a delight. Although my blender is on it’s way out so I think I need to invest in a new one.

I’ve never made soup from Gammon Stock before and using the veg that were cooked with the gammon made it so extra tasty:-) Hence I bought another gammon joint today as it’s much cheaper than buying packs of ham too! Thanks for dropping by:-)

Exactly, we made Bubble & Squeak patties with cheese from Nigel Slater as my daughter had requested these after watching him make them on TV. From now on I’m always going to do extra veg as leftovers have such a lovely rich flavour and if you have homemade stock too it’s such a treat when making soup!
