Hi, I’m not sure that this brand even exists anymore as their UK Facebook page hasn’t been active since 2018 and I’ve not seen any for sale in the UK after Googling. You could use any chocolate nut spread in place of Macabella for this recipe.

Okay so I made this today and almost cried with happiness when I made it. Absolutely delicious.

I’ve been hearing a lot about Macabella, but I haven’t tried it yet. It sounds pretty amazing on its own, but this would be irresistible!

Thanks Kate! I buy a lot of baked goods reduced in the evening so easy for me to have stale croissants to bake with:-) Just got my daughter to read the label as my eyesight is so bad and it does say something about cereals and may contain gluten.

Macabella Croissant Pudding sounds heavenly. I would love to try this spread on cinnamon rolls or pancakes too. Must get a bottle next time I shop.

Macabella is super scrummy stuff. I’m finding it very hard to stop myself trying just another spoonful. What a great idea to use it in a bread and butter style pudding.

Christmas stocking material as well as great kitchen item for self. I am not a Nutella fan (can’t do hazelnuts) but macadamias, well yes please! I trust your kids didn’t bug you too much about not letting them sample it first, especially as they got to tuck into this gorgeous pud. Total yum!

What a wonderful way to turn stale croissant into something sensational! I can’t wait to pick up a jar of Macabella at Sainsburys – I’m dying to try it!

This looks so tempting and I bet it tastes fantastic out of the oven all hot and steaming. The Macabella spread sounds like it would be fabulous on toast as well!
