In reply to Corina. Corina - next time you make a chilli, make double and then freeze half in readyness to make this stack and then it will seem like no work at all:-) We love all pancakes here and you don't just have to have them on Pancake Day of course:-)

In reply to Katie Bryson. Yes a spicy kinda lasagne Katie. I find with spices if you introduce them often your kids just get used to them over time and if they find something too spicy when it's hot the trick is to let the food cool right down and then they find it easier to heat. My daughter used to hate spicy food but as everyone else here loved it she just got used to it like this over time and now even ventures jalapenos from the jar and thinks it's quite fun and daring:-)

As we usually only make pancakes for the two of us, we tend to eat them as we go, either taking turns or having half each, but no ravenous hordes of family here! Thanks for including my bacon pancakes in the list of favourites!

Mmmmm some lush ideas here Camilla – I especially like the look of the Chilli Pancake Stack! We never have savoury pancakes but i’m very inclined to give this one a whirl… I might make a non spicy version so the boys can try it too. I guess it’s a bit like a lasagne.

We can never agree on pancakes in our house. I much prefer savoury ones but my husband just likes the classic of lemon and sugar. I love the look of your pancake stack from last year year though. I don’t have all the ingredients for it today but it’s something I’m going to think about making soon.
