Fab, it’s a recipe my mum made so often:-)

This made me laugh so much. We have a pet shrimp (in the fish tank) so now I’m not sure I can eat prawns anymore!

This is perfect for me as loads of curry recipes are for chicken. I can’t eat chicken anymore since a chicken fell asleep in my arms! No prawns have fallen asleep in my arms so i can still eat this…

Yes, when I see a list of 21 ingredients I just loose interest – leave the fancy stuff to the chefs;-)

I love watching Masterchef but I certainly couldn’t do with all that faffing in my own kitchen. Just give me food that tastes good.

Aah, so pleased to hear that you both enjoyed it and made it well. It’s a dish that I had to stop making when my son went off prawns for several years after finding shell in a sandwich! We are now having it again and love it:-)

I tried making this and I didn’t mess it up – my cooking skills leave a lot to be desired – I wasn’t sure about the inclusion of the mushrooms but they complimented it amazingly well. Even my ever so fussy 18 year old daughter loved it, and with her saying that is high praise indeed! This is now in rotation of meals. ;0)

Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one eating banana with my curry Jude. Very good point about the armed forces!

We always ate curries with bananas, nut and raisins when I was a child, a habit my mother acquired when we lived in Singapore, I think it was to lessen the strength of the curry, I think it’s a great idea, I may reintroduce it to, thank you for the suggestion.
The App sounds interesting, but I’m puzzled as to the Armed Forces being included as they have amazing catering, wherever they are.
