If it’s a croissant and not the dough then I’d say yes. I used to go to a lovely Italian cafe where they had a croissant style pastry filled with cheese sauce and ham and they would warm them up in the microwave before serving. It does make pastry more “sweaty” than if you heated in the oven though!

Mmm croissants. I always wanted to make my own chocolate ones.. never thought to put ham in them! Sounds good to me.

What a great idea. I’ve never tried using croissant dough before but I’m definitely going to give it a try now!

Looking at the photos, I think the trick is to keep the filling all down the end (like the marzipan ones) to allow the pastry layers to fluff up more. Also allow fillings to get nearer to room temperature before filling croissants. Chocolate would be a great one too! Oh, I’m going to have to buy some more!

I don’t think I’d ever bought this dough before either but thought it would be good to have in the fridge and try to recreate croissants I’ve eaten out in the past!
