Pimm’s No.1 & Lemonade – my take on this classic!
Pimm's No.1 & Lemonade is a classic, here I give it my own twist with cherries, apple, kiwi fruit and orange in a frosted glass for the perfect summer party drink!
- 50 ml Pimm’s No.1
- 150 ml lemonade
- 2 cherries
- 1 slice orange halved
- 1 slice kiwi fruit halved
- 2 slices apple which has been cored & quartered
- sprig of mint
- ice cubes
For glass frosting
- slice of orange peel removed
- caster sugar for dipping
Frost the glass by placing the orange slice onto a flat surface and rotating the rim of the glass over it so that the whole rim is wetted.
Place some caster sugar in a saucer (about 2 mm) and shake level, then dip the glass in the sugar to coat.
Fill the glass with ice.
Add the Pimm’s No 1.
Then add the fruit and lemonade.
Garnish with a sprig of mint and add a straw.
To make a jug add ice and handfuls of fruit keeping the ratio of 1 part Pimm’s No 1 to 3 parts lemonade.
