Smoked Mackerel Pâté

A luscious Smoked Mackerel Pâté made with cream cheese, lemon juice and creamed horseradish sauce.

Ingredients

  • 200 g smoked mackerel fillets skin removed
  • 90 g cream cheese half a small tub
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tsp creamed horseradish sauce
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  • Break up the mackerel fillets and place them and all the other ingredients into a blender and whizz until evenly mixed. (I use my stick blender and beaker).
  • Serve as a filling for pittas, sandwiches etc or as a dip.
