Hot Dogs with Krautslaw
Tasty German Hot Dogs with a tangy krautslaw (a fusion of sauerkraut and coleslaw) for a healthy twist!

- 4 Warburtons Sub Rolls
- 4 German frankfurters
- Drizzle of oil for frying
For Krautslaw
- 1 Cup Sauerkraut drained
- ½ Medium carrot grated
- ½ Dessert apple grated
- Mayonnaise enough to coat
Toppings
- Sliced pickled gherkins
- German mustard
- Crispy onions
- Ketchup
Mix the drained sauerkraut with the grated carrot, apple and enough mayonnaise to coat. Set aside in the fridge.
Fry the frankfurters in the oil in a griddle pan according to their instructions.
Side slice the sub rolls and fill with the krautslaw, sliced gherkin and frankfurters.
Finish off with a squirt of German mustard plus ketchup and crispy onions if you wish.
