Win £200 of Pyrex of your choice! – Closed

Updated: 7th May 2024 · Published: 9th September 2013

Apple PieI’m so pleased to team up with Pyrex once again and to be able to offer one lucky reader the chance to win £200 worth of prizes of their choice. With Christmas looming what could be better than kitting out your kitchen in readiness or maybe you’d like share your spoils and delight your friends and family with a well thought out gift. However you choose to spend your prize you won’t be short of options. I had great fun choosing some more items and was so pleased that the 250ml measuring jug is now back in production. Having dropped mine a few years ago I really had missed this really useful sized little jug (hence I got 2, just in case of further mishap)!

Win, Giveaway, £200 worth
Here’s my £200 selection of Pyrex!

Pyrex really do have all cooking occasions covered with their vast range of glass, ceramic, silicone and metal bakeware as well as beautifully styled oven to tableware from their Impressions and Wave ranges. For hob cooking there is a great selection of products ranging from classic cast iron casseroles, vitro-ceramic ware and non-stick pans. My Pyrex non-stick frying pans have been superb so this time around I chose a Granite Pancake Pan which I am looking forward to using. I see from the Great British Bake Off it would also be great for making muffins!

Pyrex Kitchen Range

So what do you have to do to win this fabulous prize I hear you ask. Well just tell me, which piece of Pyrex would be first on your wish list and why?

You cannot beat Pyrex for quality!! Top of my list would be a lasagne dish. At the moment I (rather embarrassed to publicly admit this) resort to using a cake tin when I make a lasagne – not ideal I must admit. Been longing for a decent, good quality lasagne bowl for a while now – unfortunately its not the top priority ATM on a very tight budget. One day *I can dream* 😉

But if I absolutely had to…….it would have to be the large casserole dish….but I shouldn’t have to choose, I should be lavished with the choice of £200 worth of pyrex. It would have to be one of the dishes with lid – like this one http://www.arc-international-cookware.com/en/products/4in1-plus/standard-rectangular-dish-with-lid

I make so many lasagnes and pies and would love to start making in bulk and freezing but haven’t any decent dishes and this one is fantastic with a lid!

It is so hard to choose but if pushed, I would have to say the Pyrex casserole dishes – absolutely brilliant, especially with winter now on the way I can start making goulash and dumplings. These dishes are really hand to store any leftovers in the fridge that can be eaten the next day without having to hunt around for cling film or foil to cover the food with as they come complete with lids.
