December is finally here and if you have children they were no doubt excitedly opening their Advent Calendars this morning like mine were! For us grown-ups though, it’s time to be thinking about what we’re going to be making in the kitchen this Christmas. With that in mind Just Ingredients have come up with this really helpful infographic to give you some festive inspiration. I love the idea of the honey roasted carrots with thyme as well as the gorgeous clove studded oranges which make great aromatic tree decorations! For me Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without the smell of oranges and cloves around the house.
Do check out Just Ingredients as they have some fabulous Christmas gift packs for foodies as well as stocking all the dried herbs, spices, nuts, oils, wholefoods, organic, botanical and fairtrade ingredients you could ever wish for and more! They also have a blog with handy recipes and hints too!

That is lovely, I am big on star anise this year and the basil salt- I am utterly doing that. Oh, as well as lavender sugar . x
