It probably hasn’t escaped your notice but I’m a big fan of Oxo Good Grips so I thought it was high time I ran another giveaway! Oxo kindly gave me free reign to pick out prizes that I think are really useful!

Hand Held Spiraliser rrp £15
This is a great little gadget for making your own spiralised vegetables for either a veggi spaghetti like courgetti or boodles (butternut squash noodles) or adding great texture to a salad. I spiralised a carrot as a test and found the Spiraliser easy to use and the spirals were lovely and even as well as nice and fine. Once your fingers get near to the sharp blades there’s a handy guard to plunge onto your vegetable which enables you to keep spiralising until nearly all of it’s used up! I’ve used a pencil sharpener style one before which I didn’t get on with and the spirals were a lot courser., plus wide and flat. The only thing I would say is if you have a weak hand, arm or shoulder then this probably wouldn’t be the product for you as it does require a bit of strength to use it.
White Compost Bin rrp £15
I love that this bin is small enough to pop onto the work surface when preparing fruit or vegetables so you can throw away your peelings as you go. The removable green insert is convenient for taking to your compost bin and can then easily be rinsed out.
Locking Can Opener with lid catch rrp £15
I don’t know how many can openers we have got through over the years but it’s quite a few! Eventually they just seem to stop gripping. I don’t think that will ever be a problem with this model! It grips and locks firmly onto the can and there’s a little button to release it. There’s also a strong magnet to keep hold of the lid once it has been removed!
2 Cup/500ml Squeeze & Pour Silicone Measuring Cup rrp £10
This is a genius new product as the honeycomb design means that you can heat liquids up in the microwave and the outside stays cool enough to hold. I tested this out just with some water heated up in the microwave and it worked perfectly. There is a pouring lip and the cup is flexible so you can squeeze the sides as you pour, great for things like custard! I also love this measuring cup for the fact that it wont chip or smash like my glass measuring jugs!
Dusting Wand rrp £10
I didn’t have any cakes that needed dusting to test this out on but for years I have just been using my sieve to dust cakes which has been a very messy affair with icing powder going everywhere. I can’t wait to use this little dusting wand as I’ll be able to spoon a little icing sugar, cocoa or whatever into it and control where it ends up! Would be great for dusting a Cappucino too!

We have a spiralizer but it’s never occured to me that handheld ones might exist. Ours is very big and difficult for one person to use on their own so a handheld one would be great!
