Grilled Salmon with Citrus Tamari Dressing has sweet and sour notes from the citrus and honey with saltiness from the Tamari!

Grilled Salmon with Citrus Tamari Dressing #PowerofFrozen - a quick and healthy meal. Fab Food 4 All

Most of us know that we should eat 2 portions of fish a week and one of those portions should contain oily fish. So today I’m sharing my healthy Grilled Salmon with Citrus Tamari Dressing with you as part of Iceland’s #PowerofFrozen campaign.

I am a big fan of Iceland’s frozen fish as I know the quality is always consistent and the price very reasonable compared to fresh fish.

When you buy fresh fish you don’t know how long it has been sitting on the shelf but with frozen fish you know it has been frozen in peak condition.

I once had the misfortune of buying some bad sardines and have to say I haven’t bought a fresh sardine since. This would never have happened with frozen fish!

For this dish, I used Iceland’s Fish Market 4 Atlantic Salmon Fillets which currently retail at £6 a pack (great value).

As well as having a vast range of  fish and seafood including Canadian Lobster, Red Snapper Fillets, Extra Large Roeless Scallops and Seabass en Papillote (winner of Supermeat & Fish Awards) Iceland has just brought out a range of ready-meal seafood dishes.

Ready in 9 minutes these can be stirred through pasta or in the case of the Zuppa di Pesce (Fish & Seafood Casserole with Squid, Hake, Mussels, Clams & Shrimp) served with crusty bread.

My husband and I enjoyed this immensely and I would go as far as to say it was of restaurant quality (probably not surprising as it is produced in Italy)!

So back to my Grilled Salmon with Citrus Tamari Dressing, I’ve used a combination of lime juice, orange zest, orange juice, Tamari soya sauce, honey and red chilli to give a lovely zesty, sweet and sour flavour to compliment the salmon.

I love that there’s no need to thaw the Iceland salmon fillets you can just pop them straight under the grill.

My dressing takes just minutes to prepare so this dish is perfect for a quick midweek meal which is ready in less than 30 minutes.

My family loved this meal and I have to say even my fussy daughter ate it all up (so the cat wasn’t best pleased as she loves salmon)!

Salmon is always on the menu at my house and, when it isn’t in season here, purchasing frozen would be the way to go. These fillets look gorgeous, all center cut, and are perfect for grilling. I love the fact that you can even grill them frozen for those times I forget to take dinner out of the freezer. And your sauce, I can taste the deliciousness now. Great recipe!
