The quality of the KitchenAid Knife Set is simply outstanding as you would expect from this famous brand. The storage block is made of cast metal reflecting the iconic KitchenAid design and has a wood interior for optimum tip care. The knives have ice-tempered stainless steel blades which allow them to stay sharper for longer and the ergonomically triple-riveted handles are the perfect weight for easy handling.

I’ve been using the Knife Set for the last week and it has been a total joy. I don’t usually look forward to slicing a tomato but the KitchenAid Paring Knife just glides so effortlessly with zero friction, that it’s become my guilty pleasure-) The Chef knife has been a huge help tackling things like swede which in the past my knives have just got stuck in. It’s not a pretty sight seeing me smack a knife with attached swede down onto a chopping mat in order to cut through it. I also tried the Chef Knife out on a butternut squash, which I usually soften in the microwave as again my knives struggle but the KitchenAid knife worked its magic on this too, and made a usually difficult job seem easy!

The KitchenAid Chef Knife makes light work of chopping!

I have really enjoyed using all the knives and as they didn’t need sharpening I tried out the diamond-coated sharpener on one of my old knives which worked really well. I haven’t tried out the Shears yet but can see that they are very sturdy and sharp so would have no problem cutting through a poultry carcass etc. I do believe that having decent sharp knives not only allows you to prepare food more quickly but that they are safer too as a blunt knife is more likely to slip and possibly cut you!

I used to be a chef and had a great set of knifes but they have become pretty worn over the years and can do with replacing, but to replace for a set which is in the price bracket I can afford just now would be nothing compared to the knife set I had. Fingers crossed, I would love to win these, great competition and prize, thank you so much for the chance…

Our current knives were our first wedding gift, which my husband (who was in a different country than me at the time) opened and then joyfully told me about. He seemed surprised that I started bawling my eyes out. Especially since it turned out to be the only item that was packaged in a way that you didn’t know what it was before opening. Every time I see them, I get sad, but I can’t justify getting rid of them.

My knives are so old and dull (even after sharpening) and the block is one spec away from being held together with a rubber band. I like to make sushi and bread and it’s a pain not to have knives fit for purpose. And as a bonus, that rosy red would fit with our kettle and toaster!

I’d like to win the KitchenAid 7 Piece Knife Set because the vast majority of our cutlery & crockery is 25+ years old and we are forever complaining about blunt knives. It would be lovely to have reliable sharp knives and might encourage us to be more adventurous with recipes. This is a great looking set and one that would get plenty of use on our house. I struggle with even basic tasks and would appreciate anything that made life a little easier and made meal preparation quicker. Fingers crossed.

I’d like to win the KitchenAid 7 Piece Knife Set because our knives are honestly embarrassing. The silicone/ rubber coloured handles have faded and are peeling off as you chop which sometimes can end up in our food. The blades themselves are so blunt and the colour on them has been scratched off.
Would love this wonderful knife set so we could feel proud & to make our kitchen look lovely again.

I’d like to win the KitchenAid 7 Piece Knife Set because I have never owned an actual great knife set. The closest I have come to a good knife is my Sabatier paring knife that cost me about £12 which as a full time mature student is a small fortune! Still I do everything with it (including eating steak) and have come to realise the difference a great set of knives can make to your cooking. This would actually make me the happiest man in Keele if I won!
