I’m very excited to introduce you to Edge of Belgravia who are kindly offering their Black Diamond knife block and Precision cooks knife collection in a giveaway for one of my lucky readers.
So here’s what Edge of Belgravia have to say about the knife block and knives:
“Black Diamond brings an avant-garde facelift to any kitchen. It is more than just a knife block; it is a piece of art for the kitchen. The futuristic concept of this unique floating knife block is reminiscent of the angles of a rough-cut diamond, yet has the style and beauty of contemporary art. Tightly packed, it can fit up to 11 knives, but will appear complete with just two. Edge of Belgravia’s Precision chef knife series, with its daring and diamond-inspired shape acts as a great addition to the Black Diamond knife block, and will leave your kitchen a cut above the rest!”
“Precision manifests the superb combination of futuristic bold design and the superb cutting ability of an easy-to-sharpen stainless steel blade. It represents just as much an effective cooking tool as a piece of art. We believe this is the key to inspired cooking. The hallmark handle design has won a slice of the prestigious D&AD product design award in competition with Apple’s Ipad 2.The Precision range represents a revolutionary step by combining further development of the hallmark Edge of Belgravia avant-garde design with the use of a softer more affordable stainless steel to reduce the price point. Precision manifests the superb combination of futuristic bold design and the superb cutting ability of an easy-to-sharpen stainless steel blade.”
I have been using this knife block for the last week and am wondering how I ever lived without if before! I love that my drawer now has so much extra space as my previous knife block only held 5 knives! I love that at a glance I can see exactly which blade I need (which saves me time). Finally I love the design (by London designer Christian Bird) which wouldn’t look out of place in a modern art gallery!
The Precision knives are not only smart but have been a joy to cook with. The handles are soft and comfortable to use and with the blades being so fine as well as sharp, I find they just glide almost effortlessly through whatever I’m cutting. Being coated in non-stick the knives are also really easy to clean (but not dishwasher safe).
So to win the Black Diamond Knife Block and Precision Knife Collection consisting of the Bread, Chef’s, Deba and Paring knife (worth rrp £99.90 and £69.90 repectively) simply finish the sentence:
