I was very excited when the lovely people over at Kuhn Rikon said they’d like to offer my readers a prize of my choice for a giveaway . With so many wonderful quality cookware products and tools to choose from it wasn’t an easy task but with summer on it’s way I knew it had to be the Kuhn Rikon BBQ Tool 5 Pce Set with Case.

A bit of background

Kuhn Rikon were established in 1926 and are known throughout the world for their state of the art computer aided Swiss design and manufacture and high quality products. It’s no surprise that they have won many design awards! Manufacturing from the same site in Rikon, Switzerland since the company started Kuhn Rikon also seek to balance economic, ethical, ecological and social needs. So it’s great to know that their factory combines state of the art technology and environmentally friendly processes to ensure production is as efficient as possible.

My son has taken over doing all our barbecuing and he’s over the moon with this set, with the compact smart stainless steel case he’s going to look like 007, licensed to BBQ! The high quality of these stainless steel tools just jumps out at you when you hold them. The long basting brush is not something you often come across in BBQ sets and the cleaning tool is wonderful to have in there too. I’m also over the moon that the set is dishwasher safe as it’s usually my job to clean the tools after a BBQ! Now we just need some warm weather!
