Win a Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Nutri Juicer rrp £149.99 (Closed)

Updated: 10th May 2024 · Published: 5th August 2015

Win a Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Nutri Juicer rrp £149.99 Ends 5/10/15 - Fab Food 4 All

I’m very excited to bring you this new giveaway of the Nutri Juicer from Sage by Heston Blumenthal. Sage say:

  • Fresh fruit is packed with nutrients, but how do you extract the juice without leaving them behind? To keep vitamins and nutrients intact, you need to juice quickly and evenly so you don’t push heat and air into the cells.
  • The Nutri Juicer works really quickly, extracting an average of 70% of nutrients from fruit. With a centered feed chute and less than 2 degrees of heat transfer, this juicer maximises nutrition.
  • The extra wide feed chute means you can juice bigger fruit and vegetables, so whole apples can fit down the chute without having to cut them first.

I just love the fact that when you have a glut of fruit or vegetables, whether it’s home grown, been given to you by a friend or you’ve been lucky in the bargain aisle of the supermarket then having a juicer really comes into it’s own! Finding yourself with too much fruit is no longer a problem if you want to use it up quickly but don’t have time to bake or blanch and freeze for another day. A few pushes through the Nutri Juicer chute means you have an instant nutritious juice for you and your family without even having to open a recipe book (although there are recipes for juices if you need them). Here’s my recipe for Apple, Grape & Kiwi Quencher.

I love an orange base. But I find the flavour often harsh. Too sweet with Spanish oranges, too sharp with florida oranges. I’d blend in mandarin which neutralises the harsh flavour, and takes the edge off it. I’d then go kiwi and banana for my flavour burst. Ok go on – i’ll add som carrot and almond milk.

I would have a little experiment, but would also love to get a juicing book to go alongside this. I think I’d probably start with strawberries and lime and then add some veg such as spinach :).

we’re loving green juice at the moment but the ancient juicer i inherited from my mum (i think its from the 1980s!) doesn’t cope well with leafy veg or greens. So i would juice cucumber, celery, a little cabbage, and green apples. oh and a chunk of fresh ginger.
