Apple, Grape and Kiwi Quencher

Updated 27 November 2022 Published 17 January 2014 40 Comments

JUMP TO RECIPE

Apple, Grape and Kiwi Quencher is a totally delicious and nutritious juice made with an electric juicing machine.

Juice, fruit cocktail, healthy, nutritious, high in vitamin C

A totally delicious and nutritious juice made with apples, red grapes and kiwi bursting with vitamin C – sure to become a favourite!

After hearing that the third week of January was the time that most people give up on their New Year’s Resolutions I thought I really should post this juice recipe. I didn’t make any resolutions as such, just a vague idea of eating healthier after the excesses of Christmas and to try to stay positive (you should see my in-box sometimes)!

Just before Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a Sage by Heston Blumenthal Nutri Juicer from the John Lewis’ Blogger’s Secret Santa chosen by my blog friend Sian and to date this is the most delicious juice I have ever made (or tasted).

It’s like a non-alcoholic fruit cocktail and both myself and hubby really enjoyed this healthy treat.

Not only does it taste fab but I just love the colours too! Packed full of vitamin C this really is a super juice! Come the summer I can see myself making this to cool down with a good handful of crushed ice:-)

I would advise you to drink this juice through a straw as fruit acid is very corrosive to tooth enamel and there’s no point making you body healthy but at the same time damaging your teeth!

As this juice is made from scratch I’m entering it into Javelin Warrior’s Made with Love Mondays challenge. I’m also entering it into Four Seasons Food Winter challenge which is run by Eat Your Veg (hosting) and Delicieux  where the them is virtuous.

Loads of apples just about ready on the trees right now, might just give this a whirl.

Yum, it reminds me of freshly pressed apple juice my mum used to make when I was a child! I can almost smell this delicious scent here in Brighton 🙂

I love juicing, there’s something very relaxing about the process and then of course there’s the juice to enjoy. Nice combination.

Firstly, absolutely loving the new blog design Camilla! I’m really pleased you’re enjoying the juicer! I don’t drink anywhere near enough juice but I do like the sound of this one, my daughter adores grapes and would be in heaven!

Very refreshing, the seeds from the Kiwi give you a good “workout”, in addition.

I’ve always thought it would be fun to own a good juicer so that I could combine fruits like this to make something truly unique and tasty. Love this combination, Camilla!
