She is a carer in a childrens hospice and does loads to raise money for them, as they don’t get government funding.

I would give it to myself on my birthday which is a week before Christmas and then get all visitors who come for pre-christmas drinks and mince pies and those who will come on the day to partake of it. I won’t feel so guilty having a few very nice choc treats myself then.

Over the past couple of years, most of my family has died so Christmas isn’t all that jolly to be honest and there’s nobody to buy me a present. Scoffing the chocolates and watching Christmas TV would cheer me up until I can hit the sales on Boxing Day!!

I would give it to my mum as she has had a terrible year since nursing my stepdad until he passed away in February, she then had a heart attack and was very ill for months, she then had her first holiday in years and got an infection in her leg which ruined the holiday. I think she deserves a treat!

I’d give it to my husband who is prepared to drive me 370 miles just because I want to see my son & grandsons; drive slightly more to help my other son move house from a 3rd floor flat to a 4th floor flat not in the same building when he has a hernia; and the next day drive me 150 miles because my parents were ill. Knowing him he’ll share the hamper with everyone so I’ll get some too!

I would love to send this to my sister, who recently had her husband pass away. She is doing a great job as a single mum and running her own business. Lately her roof started to leak, the chimney needed to be repaired, her car engine almost blew, her cat was attacked and she is full up with a cold. You just want to say, come on give her a break! I think to have this delivered to her would make her day and chocolate can help uplift your sprits.

She’ll be 99 soon, so I think she deserves some. And if any were suitable for vegans, I would send them to my daughter, so I’d would have to put my reading glasses on and look at the dark choc brazils.

I’d give it to my friend – she’s going through a tough time at the moments, and it might go some way towards cheering her up

My grandmother – she adores chocolate in any way, shape or form, even for breakfast, and is coming up to her 100th birthday!

I would give the hamper to my friend, Tony. It is his 65th birthday in November and he is inviting a select group of friends so it would be wonderful to share with them. He has been rather poorly recently and this would be a nice surprise.

I would share it with my children and parents, who are closest to me. My parents only live five minutes away so are always round at mine – they deserve a treat for all the help they give me 🙂

I would share the hamper with my hubby. We both need a bit of TLC and we’ve just started to have a 2-weekly evening of spending time together watching DVD’s to forget all the other stress and chores we are sharing. It would be nice to nibble on chocolates during our “time out”.
