Celebrating 5 Years plus Food Blog Recipes you must try!
Today I celebrate 5 years of Fab Food 4 All. It’s been a wonderful journey and a huge learning experience and I’m still learning every day! Before Fab Food 4 All I had zero experience of social media, I didn’t even do Facebook so there was a lot to learn. I also didn’t know anything about photography and am currently doing a photography course. When I started I just wanted to share my life long love cooking and all the recipes that I’d grown up with. I also wanted to be a cooking “evangelist” and encourage people who had never cooked that it can be easy to achieve great food. I’m all for getting the best results in the most efficient way without compromising on the quality of a dish!
So I thought it would be fun to look back on a few of my favourite dishes (this post could have gone on for a few pages) and also share some food blog recipes you must try!
Creamy Italian Salad Dressing – totally yummy and so much cheaper than the shop bought stuff.
Easy Cheesy Jalapeno Soda Bread – awesome with a bowl of soup!
Rocky Road Fudge – dangerously good!
Banana & Cacao Milkshake – great after school or work snack,, my daughter became addicted to this!
Curried Parsnip & Coriander Soup – so tasty!
Grilled Salmon with Citrus Tamari Dressing – so easy, healthy and delicious!
Welsh Lamb Moussaka Burgers – all the taste without the fuss!
One Pot Minced Beef Hotpot – the ultimate comfort food!
Easy Seedless Raspberry Jam – made for my hubby who doesn’t like seeds, perfect for filling a donut!
Nutella Brioche Pudding – the family almost fight over this!
Eve’s Pudding – a timeless classic that went unmade for too long!
Fat Free Greek Yogurt Fruit Brulee – so good you wouldn’t think it was so healthy!
I asked some fellow food bloggers for dishes that would fit the heading “food blog recipes you must try” and here’s what they came up with:
Gin & Lemon Drizzle Cake – Feeding Boys
Healthy Baked Zucchini Fritters – The Petite Cook
Slow Cooker Irn Bru Pulled Pork – Foodie Quine
Easy Ginger Cake (Egg Free, Dairy Free, Vegan) – Fuss Free Flavours
Veggie Shepherds’ Pie Jacket Potatoes – The Veg Space
Sweet Potato Ground Nut Stew with Lime Salted Peanuts – Veggie Lad
Vegetarian Sausage Rolls – Thinly Spread
Chocolate Chilli Cake – Tin & Thyme
Parmesan & Paprika Potato Waffles – Kavey Eats

and a few more!
Chorizo Butternut Squash Macaroni Cheese – Farmersgirl Kitchen
Chocolate & Mint Aero Bubble Cake – Baking Queen 74
Indulgent Chocolate Salted Caramel Cake – Munchies & Munchkins
Scandinavian Multi-seed Crispbreads – Food to Glow
Finally it remains for me to thank every one of you who reads my blog, sends me feedback or just shares some banter on social media – I really appreciate you letting me into your worlds! I also have to thank all the wonderful brands I have worked with over the years who have enabled me to push my boundaries as well as allow me to do my dream job I’m now looking forward to the next 5 years and who knows what the future may bring! It also seems very fitting to be ranked No 1 on Foodies 100 at this mile stone:-)
Cheers (raises virtual glass of cider, it’s a bit early after all)
